VERN University came to us wanting us to reimagine their outdated online software into a cutting-edge mobile and desktop application, designed to meet the dynamic needs of over 2,000 enrolled students and 200 academic staff members. The complete redesign included user research, usability testing, information architecture, wireframes, UI design, and a meticulous component library to ensure frictionless development handover.
My goal with the UI design was to create a platform that balances youthful vibrancy with professional functionality, catering to students, professors, and administrative staff alike. Built to EU Accessibility Standards, the design ensures consistency across every page and device, offering intuitive navigation and user-friendly, customizable features. Think dashboards that adapt to individual needs, actions and polls that streamline university activities, exams, and projects, and notifications that actually matter. It’s not just user-friendly—it’s user-obsessed.
The result is a visually striking and accessible application where students can effortlessly manage their schedules, messages, and attendance, while professors simplify administrative tasks, reclaiming valuable time to focus on education.
